Service Manager

Keenan Recruitment has been retained by a well-established and growing business that supplies and maintains commercial catering and laundry equipment for a wide range of public and private sector clients across the catering, hospitality, and laundry industries. We are looking for a proactive Service Manager to lead our client's service team, ensuring smooth operations, high standards and strong support for both clients and engineers.

Location Ballymena

Salary £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

Job Type Permanent. Full-time hours Monday to Friday

Benefits Company car and fuel card provided

Your Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations of the service team in the field
• Overseeing and implementing health & safety procedures and site compliance
• Preparing and reviewing RAMS for projects and reactive works
• Supporting engineers with technical advice, training and upskilling
• Carrying out site audits and toolbox talks
• Ensuring SLA and contract requirements are met and maintained
• Assisting with resource planning and job scheduling in collaboration with office staff
• Acting as a point of escalation for engineers and clients

Essential Criteria

• Background in engineering, field service or operations (catering, HVAC, M&E or similar preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of RAMS and health & safety compliance
• Hands-on experience in managing people, planning work and dealing with clients
• Good communication skills and a calm, problem-solving approach
• Possess a valid driving licence
